Tasting
For the tasting, it’s crucial to serve the sake at a
temperature of around 4ºC in a white wine glass. It’s recommended to pour about two and a half fingers of sake into the glass to prevent it from warming up and to better appreciate its qualities. When taking the first sip, it’s important to first smell it, allowing the fruity aromas characteristic of this type of sake to emerge, thanks to its slow cold fermentation. Then, upon taking the first sip, its smoothness on the palate is noticeable, revealing its purity and its 80% water content, making it perfect for pairing with meals.
